• Master's degree in school counseling or related field and GA PSC School Counseling certification
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to conduct individual and group counseling sessions, assess student needs, and develop appropriate interventions
• Understand developmental needs of students at different grade levels
• Familiar with the ASCA National Model and other relevant guidelines
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
• Competency to identify and address student needs, resolve conflicts, and manage crises

• Provide individual and group counseling and guidance to students on academic, career, and personal/social emotional issues
• Help students develop study skills, time management, and strategies for academic success
• Assist students in exploring career options, setting goals, and planning for post‑secondary education or training
• Help students develop positive relationships, coping strategies, and social skills
• Provide support and guidance during crisis situations and collaborate with other professionals as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and other school staff to support student development and well‑being
• Implement school counseling programs aligned with the ASCA National Model
• Analyze student data and IEPs to identify needs, monitor MTSS/RTI progress, and effectiveness of the program
• Connect students and families with appropriate school and community resources
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records
