Lake Blackshear Resort / Georgia Veterans State Park, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for Marina Clerks
! This is a seasonal position and will start March 1, 2025. Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins and 82 camp sites located on beautiful 8800-acre cypress lake with restaurant, bar, off‑site fitness center, conference center, marina with a lake restaurant, 18‑hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths, hunting preserve, fishing and more. We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality. This is a seasonal position.
Marina Customer Service Clerk Duties:- Making guest reservations for the rental of Pontoon Boats.
- Performing rental registrations for guest renting Pontoon Boats and taking deposits.
- Accepting payment for Marina Store purchases, gas and Pontoon Boat Rentals.
- Must balance account at the end of day for all cash and credit card payments.
- Performing inventory of merchandise in the Marina Store.
- Clean the store and restrooms daily.
- Providing information to guest concerning activities and services provided by the Resort and Park.
- Assist guest with information concerning the lake and surrounding area.
All employees of the Marina must be able to swim. Please do not apply unless you have one (1) year or more experience as a retail cashier or similar experience.
