LakeBlackshear Resort & Golf Club, Coral Hospitality, is currently searching for a hardworking Barback/Food Runner
This is a seasonal position starting March 1, 2026. Under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef, the Barback / Food Runner supports bartenders and servers by keeping the bar stocked, delivering food quickly and accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace to ensure excellent guest service.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You need to have a high energy and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. You will need strong communication and teamwork skills. You need to be able to lift 30–50 lbs. Have basic understanding of food and beverage service.
Hours and DaysTypically, Monday through Sunday with varying hours.
Typical Responsibilities – Barback- Restock ice, beer & liquor when bartenders need help
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, service stations, and storage areas
- Deliver food from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
- Verify food presentation and correct orders before delivery
- Announce dishes to guests and identify special request or allergies
- Assist servers by pre‑bussing tables
- Communicate with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff regarding delays or issues
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk frequently and carry menus or small items
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
