Marina Customer Service Clerk

Overview

Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club in Cordele, Georgia is seeking a Marina Clerk for a seasonal position starting March 1, 2025. The resort emphasizes teamwork and high levels of customer service in a best-in-class environment.

Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins and 82 campsites located on an 8800-acre lake, with a restaurant, bar, off-site fitness center, conference center, marina with a lake restaurant, and an 18-hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths. This position is seasonal and managed by Coral Hospitality.

• Under the direct supervision of the Marina Manager, perform marina- and guest-related duties to support operations.
• Make guest reservations for the rental of Pontoon Boats.
• Perform rental registrations for guests renting Pontoon Boats and take deposits.
• Accept payment for Marina Store purchases, fuel, and Pontoon Boat Rentals.
• Balance the day’s cash and credit card payments at close of business.
• Perform inventory of merchandise in the Marina Store.
• Clean the store and restrooms daily.
• Provide information to guests regarding activities and services provided by the Resort and Park.
• Assist guests with information concerning the lake and surrounding area.

• All Marina employees must be able to swim.
• Minimum of one year or more experience as a retail cashier or similar experience; other hospitality experience considered.
