GENERAL DESCRIPTION – PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and welding piping systems used in hydraulic applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Essential Functions:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts.
  • Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate TIG welding operations.
  • Install piping for hydraulic machines.
  • Ensure quality procedures are met per engineering specifications.
  • Have experience in MTE TIG welding.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
  • TIG welding: 2 years (Required)
  • Blueprint reading: 2 years (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Welding certification
  • Experience with high‑pressure or specialty piping systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent or GED required
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is preferred
