Georgia Veterans State Park / Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Maintenance Technician. The campus is comprised of 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods located on a beautiful 8,800-acre cypress lakefront
- Lake Blackshear. Lake Blackshear Resort includes 10 lake cabins, a full-service fine dining restaurant and bar, catering, seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with boat rental, and an 18 hole golf course. In addition, we offer 82 camp sites (of which many are water front), a pioneer camp area, 3 community shelters and 4 open air picnic pavilions, swimming beach, 3D archery course and a military museum and static military displays of planes, cannons and tanks.
We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.
Qualifications:The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park. A potential candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in at least 3 of the following disciplines:
- Basic electrical repair
- Plumbing
- Air Conditioning Repair Knowledge
- Painting
- Drywall Patching
- Carpentry
