Job Description

The Supply Chain Coordinator, on the inventory planning team, is responsible for coordinating inventory movements and distribution activities across Stratas facilities and third‑party warehouse partners (3PLs). This role supports inventory visibility, distribution order processing, and communication between internal teams and external partners to help ensure product availability throughout the distribution network.

The position works closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Transportation, and warehouse teams to facilitate inventory transfers, maintain accurate records, and support day‑to‑day distribution operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inventory Coordination & Reporting
  • Monitor inventory levels and review standard reports to identify potential inventory issues or shortages
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation activities and help investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain inventory records and support data accuracy across systems
  • Prepare and distribute routine inventory and distribution reports to stakeholders
  • Support inventory tracking and visibility across Stratas facilities and 3PL locations
Distribution & Order Coordination
  • Create, schedule, and coordinate distribution orders (DOs) and intercompany transfers between Stratas facilities and third‑party warehouses
  • Track inventory transfers and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Process system transactions including transfer orders, receipts, inventory adjustments, and status updates
  • Communicate daily with manufacturing sites, warehouses, and 3PL partners regarding inventory availability and order status
  • Assist in balancing inventory across locations based on established guidelines and business needs
  • Support execution of distribution plans for customer demand, promotions, and seasonal requirements
Cross‑Functional Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for inventory and distribution‑related questions from internal teams
  • Communicate inventory concerns, order delays, and distribution updates to appropriate stakeholders
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Transportation, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support business needs
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to inventory management and distribution operations
Process & Documentation
  • Maintain documentation for inventory and distribution processes
  • Support updates to standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and transaction processing
  • Assist with audits, reporting requests, and inventory‑related projects as needed
Qualifications Education

High School Diploma. Some college or business education or experience required. Equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or business operations may be considered.

Related Experience

1–3 years of experience in inventory coordination, logistics, warehouse operations, customer service, or supply chain support. Experience working with multiple warehouse locations or 3PL providers preferred.

Equipment/Software Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP systems such as Infor M3, SAP, or similar business systems preferred. Experience running and maintaining reports preferred.
