Position Overview
:

The purpose of this position is to maintain inventory of QC approved finished products and components. Ship and receive production and/or prototype devices, articles, customer products to customers or vendors; inspect outgoing and incoming items per customer product requirements and Marle requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• Place into and remove finished goods and components from inventory.
• Ship finished goods to customer(s), vendor(s), and subcontractor(s) using shop control software and shipping software.
• Receive purchased supplies, raw materials and devices (subcomponents and assemblies) from vendor(s) and subcontractor(s) into shop control software.
• Inspect receivables.
• Determine whether product conforms to purchase order and product specification.
• Prevent damage, through carelessness, to the equipment or process used in the performance of the job.
• Follow Marle’s safety and environmental procedures.
• Follow written and verbal directions from leadership.
• Work with all departments to aid as necessary.
• Perform non-routine tasks assigned by supervisor and/or company officers.

• High school education;
• 3+ years of work experience in Shipping/Receiving preferred;
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Work Environment
:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works with and/or near moving mechanical parts, fumes and air-borne particles. The noise level in the work environment is typically noisy. Hearing protection is not required for normal duties but may be required for some special situations.
