Overview
Onin Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator for an opportunity located in Corinth, MS. This position combines warehouse support, purchasing, inventory control, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, capable of working independently, and comfortable interacting with vendors, drivers, and internal team members. This is a temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent position based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors
- Respond to deliveries and visitors at the warehouse receiving entrance
- Receive and process incoming orders and shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory audits and cycle counts
- Create, process, and track purchase orders
- Enter and maintain data in company systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and inventory needs
- Assist with receiving activities and warehouse documentation
- Attend meetings and provide administrative support as needed
- Order meals and assist with meeting setup and coordination
- Maintain organized records, files, and reports
- Support daily warehouse and office operations as business needs require
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous clerical, administrative, warehouse office, inventory control, purchasing, or receiving experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable interacting with vendors, delivery drivers, and visitors
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle responsibilities with integrity
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Experience using a dolly or other material-handling equipment preferred
- Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment
- Must be able to perform occasional heavy lifting
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Business casual attire required
- Must be comfortable participating in a virtual interview process
- Cannot own or have regular contact with birds or poultry
- Must be willing to travel to Elkmont, AL for approximately 4 days of training (hotel accommodations and mileage reimbursement provided)
