Job Description:Manufacturing Engineer – Cardinal Drive facility, Corinth, MS.
As part of Caterpillar's Remanufacturing division, you will support the Cardinal Drive facility by providing support and guidance on all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance with safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.
Degree Requirement:- Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
- Identify and implement enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
- Monitor equipment and process reliability; identify and address problem areas.
- Analyze engineering change notices, determine part or process changes, and initiate and implement all changes.
- Provide engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
- Collaborative automation – knowledge of techniques and processes and ability to deploy cobots.
- Decision making and critical thinking – ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions.
- Engineering for manufacturing – design and implementation of materials, structures, machines, and systems.
- Lean manufacturing – integration and implementation of lean principles.
- Manufacturing processes – planning, managing, and monitoring processes.
- Problem solving – application of recognized approaches and techniques.
- Robotic process automation – development and deployment of RPA solutions.
- Four‑year technical or university degree in a manufacturing engineering‑related discipline.
- High level of analytical thinking and good communication skills.
- Experience reviewing design engineering changes to accommodate manufacturing processes.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment.
- Experience with tooling/fixture design.
- Previous assembly experience with implementation of in‑process validations and error‑proofing methods.
- Thorough experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Expertise in torque tool programming, MES, and PinPoint manufacturing system.
- Previous remanufacturing experience.
- Proactive, flexible, and creative mindset.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, PTC Creo, Solidworks).
- Experience with design requirements and managing implementation of capital assets.

Summary Pay Range:$89,210.00 - $
