Job Summary
To inspect assemblies for quality, assuring that product meets customer requirements.
Essential Functions- Perform IPC-A-610 audits utilizing sampling plans to insure product conformity.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, bill of materials, engineering change orders, and quality instructions.
- Perform process audits to insure standard operating procedures are followed.
- Perform in‑process, final quality audits and out‑of‑box audits to insure products meet all customer regulatory and product requirements.
- Create nonconformance reports and audit records.
- Interface with supervisors, engineers, and operators to drive continual process improvements.
- Perform other duties when required outside normal job duties.
- Assist in other duties to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner.
- High school equivalency and 1‑3 years experience in electronics printed circuit board manufacturing.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to walk, sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities: close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work EnvironmentFast‑paced environment, time pressured, requiring accuracy. Normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubical setting with occasional louder areas.
