Production Operator
At Kimberly‑Clark, you will focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, respect, and human dignity at the center. You will maintain equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly‑Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work.
Responsibilities- Acquire and demonstrate proficiency in operating base machinery, following a structured capability plan to meet performance and safety standards.
- Maintain an excellent attendance record, demonstrating reliability and a strong commitment to team success.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all safety rules, demonstrating safety leadership, and holding team members accountable through the Three Safety Obligations.
- Ensure product quality by applying knowledge of quality systems and by identifying and communicating any quality concerns.
- Maximize operational efficiency by understanding key cost drivers (e.g., uptime, yield, machine hour cost) and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support team performance by being present and available in assigned areas, collaborating effectively with team members, and sharing process knowledge.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by performing a variety of job functions and responding to changing operational needs.
- Engage in continuous learning by pursuing self‑development opportunities and acquiring knowledge in statistical and mathematical calculations relevant to the role.
- Apply lean manufacturing tools and actively participate in zone controls and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
- 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- State and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED, or Grade
12 certificate. - 3+ years of continuous work experience or equivalent military training/education.
- Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
- Ability to work in job areas that may experience extremes of temperatures.
- Ability to learn to drive industrial tractors, forklift, paddle or clamps.
- Ability to maintain a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Pass pre‑employment assessment, drug and background screening, and pre‑hire physical abilities test (PAT).
Starting hourly wage: $23.82
USD. Overtime pay and available pay increases within the first year. Full benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage with no waiting periods, an on‑site fitness center, occupational health nurse and allowances for safety equipment.
