JOB SUMMARY:

Production Floor Supervisor must be able to assist in, lead, and assess the performance of any floor employee to insure 100% utilization of the equipment/production time and employee issues during operating hours. The Supervisor is responsible for the operation/throughput/quality of all product/equipment during their shift. The Supervisor is responsible to ensure all company policies and guidelines are followed and enforced during plant operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assisting, direct, instruct, train assist and evaluate production employees.

Planning layout and regulate resources to meet production schedules.

Ensure maintenance of equipment.

Promote quality and safety in work area.

Maintain various production and operator records and documentation.

Works assigned shift.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Performs other support duties as assigned by Sr. Director of Supply Chain.

Performs other duties when required that are outside of normal job duties.

May be asked to assist in other duties to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Three five years experience in manufacturing.

High School diploma and three to five years supervisor experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in global contract manufacturing and EMS industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
