JOB SUMMARY

This position is required to handle materials and receive all the materials into the MRP/ERP system. The position is required to route materials to the appropriate personnel and department. This position owns Inventory Accuracy KPI, reports discrepancies and root causes and lead physical inventories.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Receive and locate goods from assembly lines and receiving through move tickets and receipt trackers. .
  • Properly locates materials and files assigned orders.
  • Prepare materials for shipment by staging, kitting programming, packaging, identifying, and stenciling. Assemble and compost shipping documents and labels.
  • Assists in loading outbound materials on a designated carrier.
  • Maintains related records.
  • Retrieve and interpret customer specific information concerning backlog, shipping orders, and order status and build plans.
  • Check for inventory discrepancies in receiving and shipping.
OTHER FUNCTIONS

Performs other duties when required that are outside of normal job duties. May be asked to assist in other duties to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors /or Associate degree in business or 2 years' experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Basic knowledge of MRP and inventory management and will able to drive a fork truck.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in contract manufacturing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced; time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building, and effectively communicate.

The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubical setting with some areas that may be louder at times.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
