Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team at
Magnolia Regional
Medical Center

Magnolia Regional Health Center is a 200-bed acute care community hospital located in Corinth, Mississippi. Jointly owned by the City of Corinth and Alcorn County, the hospital is a regional healthcare leader serving a multi-county area that includes Northeast Mississippi and parts of Southern Tennessee. The facility is fully accredited, reflecting its commitment to high standards of quality and safety in patient care.
CaseMix:
General, Obstetric, Urologic, Pulmonary, Pediatric, Orthopedic and Cardiovascular
Schedule:Monday-Friday 7a-3pm as needed. Call is optional
Benefits:Benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours per week. This position is not benefit eligible.
Responsibilities Administrative Duties:- The CRNA must function as a collaborator and team member toaccomplishapplicable goals and functions ofLifeLinc.
- Develop standards for continuity of care and case management.
- Remainscognizantof rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists andremainscompliant at a local, state, and federal level.
The CRNA scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Performing andtimelyand accuratelydocumentingapre-anesthetic assessmentsandpatientevaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.
- Theday-to-day responsibility of the CRNA for this position will be toprovide professionalanesthesiaservices to patients in accordance withthe standard of care and state and federal laws and may include any ofall ofthe following:
- Managing a patient's airway.
- Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
- Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia carearea, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.
- Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.
- Additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA.
- Attends meetings as needed
- Works with peers to obtain required information ona timely basis and to solve outstanding issues, as appropriate.
Promotes and contributes positively to the teamwork of the department byassistingcoworkers, contributingideasand problem-solving with co-workers.
QualificationsAdditional Qualifications:
- ACLS/BLS/PALS certification
