Sales Associate; Corinth

Overview

The sales associate reports to the Team Leader Coach or Assistant Team Lead and provides excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and assisting with cash register operations.

• Greets customers promptly, courteously, and assists with merchandise inquiries and suggestive sales to ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Adheres to Goodwill's Guiding Principles and all MGI and personnel policies, including safety practices.
• Ensures accurate inventory counts while achieving and exceeding the production goal of 14 racks or carts per day.
• Places apparel, shoes, accessories in correct locations and rotates merchandise as needed to maximize profits.
• Tills sales floor and dressing rooms, keeping them free of dust, clutter, and removing hangers at cash wrap.
• Reports theft incidents to management or Loss Prevention Manager.
• Assists in cash register operation when needed.
• Performs other duties assigned by the TLC or ATL.

The associate must meet or exceed the production goal of 14 racks or carts per day, maintaining accurate counts.

• Lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, pushing, pulling, or reaching as required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with TLC, ATL, team members, customers, and donors.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and well-groomed appearance.
• Communicate effectively, providing general feedback.
• Attend in-service training as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, and lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
• Effective verbal and written communication and basic math skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and flexible schedule.
