Plumbing Journeyman

• Commercial plumbing installation from underground/rough‑ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial and industrial construction projects such as healthcare, government, educational, manufacturing, data centers and other facilities.
• Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other liquids.
• Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site to accurately install systems.
• Installation of copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX and other piping.
• Install grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc.
• Work from ladders and man lifts from various heights and operate the equipment as needed.
• Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.

• 1–3 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
• Valid/current journeyman plumbing license preferred.
• Medical gas certification, or ability to obtain it, preferred.
• Experience leading / coaching an apprentice and/or helper preferred.
• OSHA 10‑hour certification preferred.

• Must complete company‑specific welding, soldering and/or brazing test for employment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.
• Initiative, self‑motivated (driven), self‑starter.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Complies with and promotes company safety policy.
• Work independently with and without supervision.
• Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials.
• Pass a full background screening and drug screening.
• Pass an MVR check (if applicable) or have reliable transportation.
• Pass a physical ability test.
• Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
