Job Description

This role focuses on inspecting and operating specialized logistics equipment, verifying part numbers, locations, and quantities, counting parts, fulfilling orders, and performing first‑line quality checks.

Operations

• Operate specialized equipment such as Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, and Turret Trucks.
• Consistently meet equipment‑specific efficiency targets.
• Utilize and inspect heavy equipment including sit‑down forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists.
• Perform material handling and warehousing functions: order filling, processing, storing/picking parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Operate automated packaging equipment, shipping and receiving systems.
• Interact with carrier drivers and manage multiple system interactions.
• Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures.
• Use machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, and stenciling.
• Operate electronic hardware and handheld devices (e.g., iPads) to receive material into inventory.
• Perform 5S and housekeeping functions as required.

• Previous work or volunteer experience.
• Basic computer experience.
• Must be able to work at heights of up to 30 feet from the floor.

• Experience operating specialized logistics equipment such as reach trucks, order pickers, and turret trucks.
• Previous distribution center, warehouse, and/or order‑filling experience.
• Experience following written instructions (Standard Work or Standard Operating Procedures).

• 3rd Shift – specific shift hours depend upon placement.
• Starting pay rate: $18.35/hour (plus 7% of the base rate for night shift premium).

• Frequently lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pounds as a team lift.
• Frequently bend, reach, and squat while performing tasks.
• Consistent use of required PPE.
• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
• Frequently work at heights of up to 30 feet from the floor.
• Cross‑reference material to documentation for verification.
• Work overtime when required.
