Position Summary

Modern Genesis of Lake Norman has an immediate opening for an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. If you are passionate about diagnostics, precision repairs, and working in a modern, high-tech environment, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with one of the fastest-growing luxury automotive brands.

What You’ll Do

● Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance efficiently and accurately

● Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, drivability, and HVAC systems

● Perform maintenance services including flushes, oil changes, and inspections

● Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art shop equipment

● Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts department

● Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs

● Road test vehicles to confirm repairs and quality standards

● Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training

Requirements

● Minimum 3–5 years of Automotive Technician experience preferred

● Dealership experience strongly preferred

● ASE certifications preferred

● Valid driver’s license required

● Experience with diagnostic equipment, alignments, tire equipment, and shop tools

● Ability to road test vehicles and confirm repairs

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour + bonus opportunities

Schedule:

● Monday to Friday

● Day shift

● No nights

● Weekends as needed
