Roof Consultant RRO

Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Commercial Roof Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you'll conduct and lead roof evaluations, develop technical reports and design documents, and oversee roof construction projects. Your role will be critical in delivering trusted guidance to clients across a variety of industries. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional registrations such as RRO or RRC is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct condition assessments, leak investigations, and due diligence roof evaluations
• Prepare written reports, and develop technical specifications and budgets for roof repair/replacement
• Work with Project Management team to develop bid packages and assist clients with contractor selection
• Perform jobsite observations to monitor quality, adherence to specifications, and schedule compliance
• Maintain communication with clients, contractors, and internal team throughout the project lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date with building codes, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices
• Document findings through photographs, notes, and detailed drawings

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing, roof consulting, or a related field
• RRO is desired. RBEC, RRC, or other IIBEC credentials are a plus. (or willingness to pursue)
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials
• Proficiency with report writing and construction documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 5-7 nights per month for evaluations and site visits. Must be able to fly on planes and meet applicable travel requirements (Real  Passport)
• Must be able to climb ladders and have sufficient physical ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Work is generally 50% in office and 50% in field.
• Must be able to use computers and programs such as Microsoft Products and Acrobat proficiently
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and work with internal team members to meet schedule and objectives.
