We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Professional to join our team. In this role, you will prepare clients’ tax filings and advise them on strategies to maximize savings and make sound financial decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of tax laws and best practices in tax preparation.
Responsibilities- Analyze income statements, previous tax returns, and other financial records to determine taxable income
- Prepare financial statements
- Provide sound advice to clients on minimizing their tax obligations
- File taxes in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare Sales tax reports - multi-state
- Prepare payroll reports - limited
- Communicate with tax authorities when necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and CAF number
- Previous 5 years of experience as a Tax Professional
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books
-PC and Online, Ultratax - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
