Position Summary
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will provide anesthesia, analgesia, and pain management services across the patient lifespan in various settings including ambulatory, surgery center, and hospital. The CRNA functions at a medical level of care within an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, cost‑effective, evidence‑based care. Responsibilities include providing care within scope of practice as defined by state law, licensing, regulations, institutional policy, privileges, and practice agreements.
Key Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia, analgesia, and pain management for patients in diverse settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
- Participate in clinical committees.
- Provide teaching to allied health learners and student CRNAs.
- Assist in operative and non‑operating room anesthesia duties (OB, general, pediatrics, ortho, gynecology, NORA).
- Respond to on‑call duties and manage shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours.
- NC RN licensure required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
- CRNA licensure required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA.
- Hours per week: 40.
- Shift options: 8, 10, 12 hour shifts and on‑call.
- Pay range: $99.75 – $159.60 per hour; entry level starting salary $215,996 per year.
- Sign‑on bonus: $100,000.
- Base compensation within the pay range.
- Premium pay for shifts and on‑call.
