Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assisting homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors with selections while delivering an exceptional showroom experience from initial consultation through project completion.

This is an hourly position with a team‑based, uncapped commission program. Once the showroom achieves its monthly gross sales goal, all eligible team members share in commission based on company performance. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.

• Assist customers with selecting tile, natural stone, wallpaper, countertops, and installation materials for residential projects.
• Provide product knowledge and design guidance for kitchens, bathrooms, and whole‑home renovations.
• Prepare estimates, sales orders, and invoices while following up with customers to close sales.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and showroom inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors.
• Conduct occasional job site visits to assist with selections or verify project details.
• Maintain showroom displays, samples, merchandising, and overall cleanliness.
• Stay current on product offerings, design trends, and industry knowledge through vendor trainings and events.
• Assist with receiving inventory and moving sample boards and materials (up to 50 lbs.).

• Sales or customer service experience preferred; experience in tile, flooring, countertops, cabinetry, interior design, or construction is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local site visits.
