Trade Sales Representative | Architectural & Design Sales

We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Trade Sales Representative to grow our network of interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors throughout the region.

This role is focused on developing and managing trade relationships — identifying new opportunities, building partnerships, and bringing new projects into our showroom. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys networking, creating opportunities, and has a passion for design, construction, and beautiful spaces.

• Develop and grow relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals
• Prospect new accounts through relationship building, networking, and approved in-person outreach
• Visit design firms, builder offices, and industry partners to introduce Carolina Tile & Stone and create new opportunities
• Spend time in the showroom assisting trade clients, responding to inquiries, learning our products, and supporting sales activity when not conducting outside prospecting
• Manage and nurture existing trade relationships while identifying opportunities for growth
• Assist trade partners with tile, stone, and wallpaper selections for residential projects
• Track leads, opportunities, and sales activity to meet established performance goals
• Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Saturday hours may apply.
• Primary work location is our showroom; outside prospecting and relationship-building activities are encouraged during approved business development visits
• Must be comfortable balancing showroom presence with proactive sales outreach
• Mileage reimbursement provided for approved business travel

• Base salary: $30,000-$40,000 depending on experience
• Uncapped monthly commission based on qualifying tile, stone, and wallpaper product sales
• Higher commission opportunities for new accounts developed by the representative
• Bonuses available for opening and growing new trade accounts
• Expected earning potential: $60,000-$100,000+ based on performance
