$18-21 hourly | Install Helper | Cornelius, NC
Position Summary
Allied Aire, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Cornelius, NC. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the heating and air conditioning industry. You will assist lead installers with the installation of residential HVAC systems while learning the trade through hands-on training.
Responsibilities
* Assist with installation of residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and air handlers
* Help with removal and disposal of old HVAC equipment
* Carry and move tools, materials, and equipment safely
* Loading, unloading and stocking of materials
* Assist with installation of ductwork, thermostats, and related components
* Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle
* Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
* Provide professional and courteous service to customers
* Learn HVAC installation procedures and best practices
Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Ability to process both written and verbal English language skills
* No HVAC experience required - training provided
* Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
* Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, insurable by co. insurance carrier
* Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required)
* Trade school or HVAC school experience
* Basic hand tool and ladder knowledge
* EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)
