Nursery Laborer – Cornelius, OR

Location:

Cornelius, OR (Roy Farm Nursery)
Pay: $17–$19/hr DOE

Join our nursery team and help grow, care for, and prepare high-quality plant material for landscaping projects. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role with opportunities to learn and grow in the green industry.

• Assist with planting, watering, and maintaining nursery plants
• Load, unload, and move plant material onto trucks
• Perform weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and general plant care
• Support pruning, deadheading, and seasonal plant maintenance
• Maintain clean, organized work areas including greenhouses and yard space
• Assist with monitoring irrigation, plant health, pests, and diseases
• Follow safety protocols and properly use tools and equipment
• Support order preparation and staging for deliveries

• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and move plants, soil, and materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Dependable, team‑oriented, and willing to learn
• Ability to take direction and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous nursery, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience is a plus (not required)

• Hands‑on training in plant care and nursery operations
• Exposure to chemical applications (herbicides, anti‑desiccants, etc.) with proper training and certification
