Position: Qalipu First Nation Business Development Expert
Join Qalipu First Nation as a Business Development Officer. This full-time role focuses on enhancing community initiatives and providing business support to Indigenous entrepreneurs.

The Business Development Officer will collaborate with Indigenous business owners to improve their marketability and coordination of community programs. You will manage the Qalipu Business Network's online presence, develop marketing collateral, and facilitate partnerships that expand economic opportunities.

Your role directly influences the success of local businesses through comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Indigenous entrepreneurs with tailored resources

• Develop marketing collateral including brochures and flyers

• Secure funding to enhance business support programs

• Maintain communication with member businesses

• Organize events to foster business networking

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in business or community development

• Minimum 3 years in a business support role

• Proven marketing experience

• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access

• Flexibility for travel and event coordination
