** Purpose of this position** :

The Product Line Manager is responsible for shaping and executing product line strategy for Gorilla Glass in support of growth, profitability, and long-term portfolio health of the full-sheet business. This role brings together market understanding, business analysis, and cross-functional leadership to guide decisions across the product lifecycle - from identifying opportunities and refining value propositions to supporting commercialization, lifecycle management, and portfolio simplification.

The Product Line Manager plays a central role in connecting commercial opportunities, customer needs, manufacturing realities, and technical possibilities into a clear product line direction.

** Major responsibilities:*
* + Develop and execute product line strategy to support sales growth, profitability, and long-term portfolio health of the business:
Identify product line priorities and critical initiatives required to deliver annual objectives; support planning processes including annual product line plans, long-range planning, and budget inputs (Green Book and Black Book); understand and manage key profit and loss drivers; and build business cases for new product opportunities, special requests, and portfolio decisions, including financial implications and pricing requirements.

+ Translate market and customer insight into action:
Understand downstream market requirements, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product decisions and lifecycle planning; articulate compelling value propositions, product positioning, and basis of competition; interpret customer needs to inform forecasting, demand management, and capacity planning; and partner with commercial teams on segmentation, prioritization, and product-level customer strategy.

+ Lead through cross-functional influence:
Work closely with cross-functional partners across Development, Product Engineering, Applications Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to align priorities and drive execution of product strategies.

+ Manage the product line through the lifecycle:
Guide products through innovation, commercialization, and lifecycle management; collect and incorporate voice of customer feedback on new products and enhancements; identify opportunities to reduce complexity, improve margins, and support cost reduction; lead or support end-of-life and obsolescence decisions; support pricing strategy and key commercial decisions; and provide tools and resources to enable…
