Web Developer, Technical Writer
Platforms Specialist
Team is looking for a Platforms Specialist to support a temporary leave for approximately six months. You'll own the day-to-day publishing and upkeep of our external website and intranet—making sure content shows up where it should, looks the way it should, and stays healthy over time. The role also lands at an important moment: we're in the middle of a major content cleanup tied to a migration and replatform/redesign.
A meaningful share of the work is wrangling legacy content—reviewing, tidying, retagging, archiving, republishing— glamorous, but high-impact and genuinely important.
What you'll do:
- Publish and maintain content on external website (Adobe Experience Manager) and intranet.
- Partner with designers, writers, and editors to build pages within our established design system and brand guidelines.
- Triage and execute content requests from across the business. Requests come via email, Teams, and ad hoc conversations rather than a ticketing system, so clear communication and keeping your own record of what's in flight is essential.
- Make judgment calls. If an asset is missing or a request is ambiguous, dig in and propose a solution rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Run ongoing audits of site and intranet health—metadata, accuracy, broken links, outdated pages—and fix what you find.
- Contribute directly to our content cleanup and migration effort at scale.
What we're looking for:
- Genuinely self-directed. You take a goal, ask the right questions, and run with it. Micromanagement isn't our style.
- Strong communicator across email, Teams, and meetings—able to chase down decisions and keep stakeholders informed without being asked.
- Bias toward action and problem-solving.
- Tolerance (ideally, some enthusiasm) for detailed, repetitive work done well. Enterprise content cleanup is a grind.
- Exacting attention to detail. Typos and broken links should bother you.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or HS Diploma or GED (minimum) or Associate's Degree with significant practical experience (2-3+ years supporting enterprise content management).
Skills & Experience:
- Some hands-on experience publishing in a web content management system. The specific platform matters less than understanding how content management works—we'll get you up to speed on our AEM build.
- Familiarity with web and metadata standards (Schema.org, Open Graph, Google Core Web Vitals).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Nice to have:
Enterprise CMS and/or DAM experience. Comfort using Figma to mock up page layouts from existing components. Light writing or editing chops.
