The intern will join the Product & Experience team, supporting Agile delivery and product operations. This opportunity provides practical experience facilitating team ceremonies, tracking delivery metrics, partnering with a Product Owner, and helping a cross-functional team organize work and deliver value for customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and facilitation of Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist the team with organizing, tracking, and following up on commitments and action items.
- Develop and maintain team metrics, dashboards, and status reporting.
- Partner with the Product Owner and team members to support backlog readiness and delivery planning.
- Help identify impediments, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Document meeting outcomes, decisions, processes, and working agreements.
- Support stakeholder communication and preparation of project or product updates.
- Contribute to a collaborative, transparent, and improvement-focused team environment.
Requirements
- Student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and business concepts quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, organized, and willing to take initiative and learn.
- Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2027 (May-August 2027) with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
- Be willing to work at the posted job location
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or project experience with Agile, Scrum, product management, or project coordination.
- Prior Scrum Master experience or certification is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is helpful.
- Strong organization, facilitation, communication, and follow-through skills.
