Flake Packaging Technician

Cargill is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our Manufacturing & Production team in Food & Beverage Operations. In this on-site role, you will operate and monitor packaging lines, perform quality and food safety checks, and complete accurate production records. You'll follow strict safety, GMP, and sanitation standards while supporting changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust automated and manual packaging equipment for food and beverage products
• Perform quality checks to ensure packaged products meet Cargill and regulatory standards
• Follow all safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures, including GMPs and HACCP guidelines
• Complete production, downtime, and inspection records accurately and on time
• Assist with equipment changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and minor maintenance
• Stage, label, and palletize finished goods for storage and shipment
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and improve line performance
• Participate in continuous improvement and 5

• Report hazards, near misses, and non-conformances promptly
• Support training of new team members on packaging processes and safety practices
