LPN Supervisor

Corning Center in Corning, NY is seeking an LPN Supervisor to lead and support nursing staff in our skilled nursing and rehab facility. The LPN Supervisor will oversee daily clinical care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. This role provides hands-on guidance to LPNs and CNAs, supports care planning with the interdisciplinary team, and promotes a safe, compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs in daily resident care activities
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions and report changes promptly
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and protocols
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing staff
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-focused care environment
• Coordinate staffing needs and workflow on assigned shifts
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
• Assist with quality assurance and improvement initiatives
