Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a qualified Pest Control Technician to join our expanding team in Cornwall.
The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out pest control inspections and treatments across both domestic and commercial premises
. This is a hands-on role that requires confidence, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The role will involve:
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify pest species, entry points, and infestation levels
- Planning and delivering effective pest control treatment programmes
- Applying treatments safely, in line with regulations and product label instructions
- Completing follow-up visits and monitoring treatment outcomes
- Carrying out minor proofing works and providing prevention advice
- Working in confined spaces (e.g. lofts) and occasionally at heights
- Communicating clearly with customers regarding findings, treatments, and safety advice
- Writing detailed inspection reports and using digital systems
- Maintaining equipment, adhering to health & safety standards, and attending ongoing training
- Identifying opportunities to recommend or sell additional services where appropriate

Essential / Desired Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year’s pest control experience
- RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management (preferred)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Experience writing reports and conducting risk assessments
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
- Personable, approachable, and professional
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
- Confident navigating and working across Cornwall
- Preferably based in East or Central Cornwall
- A strong sense of humour and ability to perform good banter - essential!
