Refrigeration Service Engineer

Empire Services is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial & Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our field-based team covering Cornwall.

You’ll be working across Cornwall on a mix of reactive breakdowns, planned maintenance, and customer-facing work. The role covers a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

• Service, maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment
• Working on hydrocarbon systems (experience preferred)
• Completing job reports, F-Gas records and compliance documentation
• Carrying out site risk assessments and following safe systems of work
• Delivering a professional, customer-focused service
• Taking part in a well-managed on-call rota with appropriate support

• Experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good practical understanding of health & safety
• Manufacturer or OEM training
• 40-hour working week
