- Job Title: Senior Labour and Human Resources Specialist
- Location: Cornwall, ON
- Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

- Lead labor and HR initiatives in a unionized environment
- Negotiate collective agreements, mediate disputes, and provide strategic HR advice
- Drive HR programs, employee relations, and process improvements
- Collaborate with HR leadership and business teams to align people strategies with organizational goals
- Hands-on, influential role with opportunities for career growth and professional impact
- Negotiate collective agreements, mediate labor disputes and grievances, and provide advice on employee and labor relations
- Conduct and lead internal investigations
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within client groups
- Support execution of HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs
- Respond to HR inquiries from management and employees; escalate higher-level matters to Director of HR
- Facilitate day-to-day employee/labor relations, including complaint resolution and disciplinary actions
- Provide recruitment and onboarding support for hourly and salaried personnel
- Assist in implementing HR initiatives and process improvements
- Perform other HR projects as assigned by management
- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
- CHRP designation or working towards CHRP is an asset
- 10+ years of specialized Labour and Human Resources experience in hands-on HR roles
- Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Labour legislation
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented self-starter with strong professionalism and diplomacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
