Position: Field Equipment Technician at Northern Mat & Bridge
Location: Morrisburg

Elevate your mechanical expertise with Northern Mat & Bridge as a Field Equipment Technician. Enjoy a balanced 14 days on/7 days off schedule while ensuring equipment reliability across Eastern Canada.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for keeping trucks and machinery in excellent working condition. With over three years of experience required, you will perform diagnostics, regular maintenance, and repairs directly on job sites. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues while also mentoring apprentices on your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment and trailers in ready-to-work condition

• Perform inspections and regular maintenance tasks

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems

• Complete repairs in the field during breakdowns

• Support apprentices and pitch in wherever needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment experience

• Heavy Duty Equipment Technician 421A certification

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Comfortable working independently in the field

• Ability to communicate in French is an asset
