Staff Accountant

A leading, multi-location hospitality organization is seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Staff Accountant to support robust financial operations across a high-volume, service-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, understands the nuances of hospitality financials, and brings accuracy, ownership, and analytical strength to daily accounting activities.

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations
• Support multi-unit P&L preparation, variance analysis, and financial reporting
• Assist with AP/AR processing, vendor management, and payment cycles
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow activity and support treasury functions as needed
• Partner with operations leaders to resolve discrepancies and improve financial accuracy
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking across multiple locations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience; hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and accounting/ERP systems
• Experience with high-volume cash environments
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
