Reports to:

Account Manager.

The Sales Data Analyst supports a key account team within Latitude 36 Foods by analyzing sales, inventory, and forecast data to ensure alignment between customer demand and internal supply chain execution. This role serves as the primary connection between the customer and inside sales, product development, planning, supply chain, and operations teams. The Analyst is responsible for extracting and analyzing data from ERP systems, compiling large datasets into clear, executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations, and will work alongside the Account Manager in presenting insights directly to the customers and company leadership during business reviews and forecast meetings.

This position plays a critical role in managing and analyzing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, monitoring finished goods and raw material inventory levels, tracking SKU‑specific usage and expiration, and identifying risks, trends, and opportunities. The analyst partners closely with customer service, purchasing, and production planning to integrate VMI requirements into production schedules, manage obsolete or rejected inventory, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

& Experience
  • BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of supply chain analysis or inventory control management experience within the food industry preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiar with VMI (vendor management inventory).
  • Business Central (BC) ERP experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer service and/or purchasing experience.
  • Experience with other ERP Systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, pivot table and VLOOKUP.
  • Ability to travel to other locations (Salinas, CA & Fairfield, Ohio).

What Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Data Analysis and reporting – Collect, analyze and interpret sales, inventory and forecast data across customers and internal systems.
  • Compile large datasets into clear, accurate, and visually compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze customer VMI programs; work hand in hand with customer service and production planning to help integrate the VMI into the production schedule.
  • Extract data from our ERP system (Business Central), research the history and activity patterns and analyze the data of raw material components and finished goods inventory.
  • Analyze and communicate inventory levels by reviewing on‑hand inventory, plant demands, and sales forecasts.
  • Act as a data translation point between customer inventory data and internal sales, supply chain, and production teams.
  • Prepare executive‑ready presentations summarizing trends, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to align insights with business objectives.
  • Present data and insights directly to customers during business reviews, forecast meetings, and performance discussions.
