Job Summary:

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion while accurately estimating project costs and managing resources. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of project management principles and estimating methodologies to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, analyzing labor, materials, and overhead expenses.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.

Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while mitigating risks and addressing challenges.

Lead project meetings, providing updates to team members and stakeholders on project status and next steps.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary, client, and project-related information.

Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and estimating techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function to this position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in an office environment and on construction sites, including exposure to varying weather conditions.

Capability to perform site visits, which may involve walking, climbing, and navigating uneven terrain.

Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 30 lbs as needed.
