Do you bring out the star in your students? At Taylor Robinson Music we believe in learning music from the heart and are looking for private music instructors, especially for piano, who share this philosophy.

Students are located throughout the Corona, CA area. Lessons can be conducted at a student’s home, the instructor’s own space, or via webcam (a minority of our students prefer the latter). Instructors must be local or willing to travel within the area.

Compensation is independent contractor: $20–$30 per hour, adjusted for experience, education, travel time, and student retention. Instructors set their own schedules and lesson plans. Marketing, advertising, SEO and billing are handled by Taylor Robinson Music.

Prospective instructors should be organized, punctual, and able to communicate well with our office. Formal music training is not required, but a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is required.

• Teach piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
• Prepare and modify lesson plans to meet student needs.
• Manage scheduling and travel logistics for local lessons.
• Maintain a safe and clean teaching environment.
• Adhere to COVID‑19 precautions: mask, hand sanitization, social distancing.

• Either a degree in music, enrollment in a music education program, or professional performance experience.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Availability to travel within the Corona, CA area.
