• Manages product design and development projects from concept through production.
• Interacts with the customer, communicates information as necessary, and regularly prepares documentation to keep management informed of project status.
• Interprets customer concerns and requirements and directs the design accordingly.
• Proposes and develops process improvements.
• Provides engineering support to the design team.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develops tooling or process improvements with the design team.
• Acts as subject matter expert in at least one production line.
• Verifies that product designs meet the customer's requirements through calculations and analysis.
