Job DetailsShift: Sunday – Thursday, 5:00pm – 1:30am
Pay: $32.50 per hour – $43.00 per hour (DOE)

- Develop and maintain effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
- Diagnose error conditions related to Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and Automated Picking System, and perform appropriate repairs.
- Oversee maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of MHE and Automated Picking System controls.
- Assess the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems and define necessary modifications.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to sustain productivity with warehouse operations.
- Maintain the CMMS/EAM system with records of repairs required and performed on equipment.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet productivity goals.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Some technical vocational training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- At least two years of related and progressively responsible experience; a strong electrical background is preferred.
- Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.
- Aptitude for repair and maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) diagrams, electrical circuitry diagrams, and drawings.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including testing, replacement, or repair of electrical systems up to 600volts, AC or DC motors, power supplies, frequency drives, servo drives, transformers, motor starters, proximity sensors, encoders, photoeyes, PLCs, HMIs, and related components.
- Test equipment and instrumentation systems including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and water treatment chemicals.
- Knowledge of PLCs preferred; ability to read schematic, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder and block logic.
- Configure and load programs for PLCs, HMIs, and scanners; program basic changes to PLC controllers, including timing adjustments, adding alarms, and logic for additional inputs or outputs.
- Properly wire additional devices to PLCs and other controllers.
- Operate and diagnose all chill water plant systems including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, BAS, HVAC, and water treatment.
- Understand device IP addressing, network switches, and troubleshoot communication issues on MHE and other enterprise networks such as PROFIBUS, BACNET, LONWORKS, PROFINET, CAN‑BUS, and ASI.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to resolve issues efficiently and implement standard courses of action within established project timelines.
- Mentor other technicians; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Full-time salary range: $57,900 – $85,360 (national average). Actual ranges may vary by location.
