As a Reliability Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

* Implement effective machine monitoring capability and analyze data to determine improvement opportunities

* Develop, implement, and sustain reliability strategies to improve uptime, reduce failures, and extend asset life

* Lead or support Preventive / Predictive Maintenance programs and Stockroom optimization efforts

* Support development and expansion of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, oil analysis, etc.)

* Identify opportunities to transition from time-based to condition-based maintenance strategies

* Build and maintain reliability dashboards and KPIs to track performance and improvement progress

* Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on major breakdowns and recurring failures and ensure corrective actions are implemented

* Identify and execute reliability improvement projects with measurable impact to OEE and cost

* Lead or support continuous improvement projects aligned with plant and corporate goals

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)

* Three (3) + years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or engineering within a heavy industrial, mining, manufacturing, private, public, government or military environment

* Three (3) years of experience working with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)

* Three (3) years of experience working with data analysis and Microsoft Excel

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

* Experience with reliability analysis, predictive (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM).

* Professional reliability credentials such as:
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician

* Experience with Mining and Industrial Rock Processing Equipment

* Experience with rotating equipment (kilns, dryers, conveyors, crushers, screeners)

* Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

* Experience with machine data analysis tools/software (eg. SCADA)

* Plant automation / PLC experience

* Experience with SAP PM module (work orders, PM optimization, reporting)

The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
