The company is currently seeking qualified professionals to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona in a variety of roles.
Senior Metrology EngineerThis is a Part‑time, hybrid on‑site position located in Norco, CA.
Responsibilities:- Technical expertise:
Demonstrates knowledge of program management, calibration standards, and laboratory support services to ensure technical credibility and effective program execution. - Contracting and Procurement:
Understands Federal, DoD, and Navy contracting laws, regulations, and procedures. - Process Development:
Develops, implements, and manages work processes to meet customer requirements, ensuring quality and efficiency. - Analytical

Utilizes evaluative methods to assess program development, execution, and effectiveness, including financial and budgetary analysis. - Customer Engagement:

- Education:
Bachelor of Arts or higher in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience with project management.
- 3+ years working within metrology and calibration application space, e.g., sensor design and/or calibration, measurement instrumentation calibration and logistics.
- Understanding of measurement uncertainty quantification and how it relates to calibration.
- 2+ years of experience with research and development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel, and related tools for developing documentation, financial planning, Gantt project planning, etc.
- Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher) preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to communicate technical information both orally and in writing.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentor others on Metrology principles and NAVSEA SYSCOM policy.
- Ability to provide technical support in the development and implementation of technical policy, processes, and guidance needed to support NAVSEA in‑service projects.

Senior Metrologist Responsibilities:- Independently review and evaluate technical and mission risks associated with NAVSEA projects.
- Develop performance strategy and tools, conduct interviews, compile and evaluate data, and develop assessment products, including requisite data tables, processes, presentations, and reports.
- Interfacing with NAVSEA management, engineers, and other subject matter experts, as well as contractors, industry, and other government agencies.
- Use system engineering and risk management principles to conduct technical risk assessments.
- Perform analyses and reviews to facilitate Risk Informed Decision Making and Continuous Risk Management.
- Assist the NAVSEA Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) technical warrant holder with all responsibilities for management and oversight of the program.
- Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher) preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to communicate technical information both orally and in writing.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentor others on Metrology principles and NAVSEA SYSCOM policy.
