POSITION OVERVIEW Our company designs and manufactures high temperature vacuum furnaces as well as VPA coating systems used in industries such as aerospace, energy, additive and precision manufacturing. • Direct responsibility for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Departments.
• Work closely with internal and external Sales personnel to develop new business and products.
• Plan and formulate engineering strategies and programs.
• Provide technical leadership to staff and company personnel for technical superiority.
• Manage and organize technical resources to achieve engineering objectives in continuous improvement, technical advancement, processing capabilities, and R&D.
• Collaborate with Project Management Team to meet and exceed customer requirements in product design, innovations, processing, quality, prototypes, and production deadlines.
• Advance company competitive position in Product Engineering (Equipment Design, Process flow, FEA, CFD) with customers.
• Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer specifications.
• Delegate responsibilities to adapt and follow principles and standards.
• Oversee customer technical meeting preparations and drive improvements in professionalism and sales performance.
• Utilize technical resources and analytics to evaluate and improve manufacturing processing, statistical variations, rework reduction, and critical metrics and cost items.
• Apply advanced manufacturing technology and automation to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
• Drive innovation across all engineering disciplines.
• Appraise employee performance, recommend salary adjustments per company policy.
• Maintain close surveillance over engineering procedures through observations, reports, and staff meetings for coordination, timely results, budgetary conformance, and personnel utilization.
• Provide routine executive summary outlining cost controls and project challenges affecting the bottom line.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in industrial machinery design and manufacturing.
• Capital equipment experience.
• 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial automation and controls, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of industrial automation and controls.
• Experience overseeing design, integration, and troubleshooting of high-performance electrical equipment (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC and Designer software (500/5000), Intouch Wonderware, HC900 Design Station.

• Experience in heat treatment of metal parts manufacturing.
• Some mechanical engineering skills.
• Experience with FEA and CFD tools.

• Compensation:
  Up to $150,000 per year.
