Position: Credit Solutions Advisor - Corona Plaza - Spanish language Fluency Preferred

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Originator to originate loans for clients with residential mortgage needs and serve as the primary lending specialist within the financial center. The role involves delivering First Mortgage, HELOC, Auto Loans, Credit Cards, and Core Banking products in person or by telephone while maintaining a balance of sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service and guidance to clients throughout the full spectrum of borrowing and banking offerings.
  • Analyze client financial needs and recommend tailored banking products that align with their priorities.
  • Presents mortgage product solutions, submits applications, assists with documentation, and communicates progress through calls, email, and online messaging.
  • Engage clients through outreach and pipeline management, conducting consistent follow-up to meet their needs.
  • Refer client requests to appropriate internal partners based on client needs.
  • Collaborate with financial center leaders and managers to coach associates on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Maintain compliance with SAFE Act registration requirements and complete required background checks.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of mortgage origination experience or equivalent demonstrating client needs assessment, consultative sales, and relationship building.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional, confident demeanor.
  • Critical thinking skills for analyzing financial and credit data and advising clients on product and pricing policies.
  • Ability to manage the full client end‑to‑end experience, including problem resolution.
  • Adaptability to ambiguity and changing circumstances.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to work weekends or extended hours as needed.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and regulatory compliance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail loan origination role within a financial center.
  • Knowledge of mortgage products (Conventional, Jumbo, HELOC, Government) and related processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
  • Familiarity with FHA, HUD guidelines and other lending regulations.
  • Proficiency with MS applications and laptop technology.
Minimum Education Requirement

High School Diploma, GED, or secondary school equivalent.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly pay range: $26.00 – $30.83 (determined by experience, education, and skill set).
