Dietitian Per Diem

Registered Dietitian in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Director of Nutritional Services, the clinical dietitian is responsible for providing daily in‑patient nutritional care through screening and assessment of patients, nutrition consultation, and nutrition education for both in‑patients and out‑patients of this community. Other duties may include policy and procedure development, in‑service/competency education development for staff, daily supervision of diet office staff and functions, support of the department performance improvement plan, and attendance at routine meetings and interdisciplinary rounds as requested by the supervisor.

The clinical dietitian delivers comprehensive nutritional care, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports quality improvement initiatives within the hospital and community settings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field required.
• Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registry eligible as a registered dietitian (must pass exam within 3 months of hire).
