Tech - Sterile Processing Per Diem

Responsibilities

Central Sterile Supply Technician (Per Diem) – Day Shift – Corona Regional Medical Center, Corona, CA.

• Decontamination, Prep and Pack, tray assembly, sterilization and other duties as assigned.
• Requires thorough knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures, sterilization techniques, infection control and workflow principles.
• Demonstrates responsible judgment to provide necessary supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Reports to the Director of Surgical Services and/or designee.

• Knowledge of surgical instruments care and maintenance.
• Previous Instrument Technician experience preferred.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Basic computer skills.
