Nuclear Medicine Technician (Med Tech)

This is a per diem position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the technologist operates all nuclear equipment and leads the diagnosis of designated body portions as ordered by a physician. The technologist instructs patients on all nuclear medicine procedures, protocols, and preparations, and is responsible for proper computer operation, use of Gamma and SPEC T software, and providing the best patient care to enhance quality and professionalism.

• Operate all nuclear equipment for patient diagnostics.
• Instruct patients on procedures, protocols, and preparations.
• Ensure proper computer operation and software usage (Gamma and SPEC T).
• Provide high‑quality patient care and maintain professionalism.

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. • Certification by the California Department of Health Services and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and CRT) required.
• Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
• One (1) year experience in Nuclear Medicine required.
• I.V. Certification for contrast injections preferred.
