The customer service representative is responsible for querying all persons entering the hospital based on a set of standardized questions related to their current health status prior to allowing entry into the building. The screener will ensure each person practices hand hygiene, wears appropriate personal protective equipment, and completes the required question set. Visitors will be evaluated and directed appropriately. During non‑busy times, the screener will complete other duties such as logging patient belongings, reviewing and reporting infectious disease, data tabulation, report generation, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Query all persons entering the hospital based on standardized health questions.
- Ensure compliance with hand hygiene and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Evaluate and direct visitors appropriately.
- Log patient belongings and maintain inventories.
- Review and report infectious disease incidents.
- Tabulate data and generate reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

One year of customer service experience preferred.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent. Health care or caregiver training preferred.
